A decorative and well-balanced pair of brass candle wall sconces executed in a Late Baroque / Rococo style, with strong visual references to 18th-century European design. The sconces are richly adorned with sculptural details including a central putto (cherub), rocailles, and a domed, hand-hammered backplate that creates depth, movement, and an elegant play of light.

Crafted in hammered brass with cast decorative elements, the overall construction, surface patina, and the design of the candle holders and wall fixings indicate traditional, older-style craftsmanship. While the exact year of manufacture is not documented, stylistic and technical features suggest a possible origin in the late 18th century.
